Prerequisites:
Minimum of 10 private sessions at any studio, written confirmation required if session not performed at Synergy Fitness. Prior Anatomy course completion or, taking the Anatomy course simultaneously to this course. It is highly recommended that you have experience in personal training, dance, yoga or other movement modalities
Exam Preparation:
  • Prior to Exams the following material must be turned in:
  • Notes on observation hours. Practice times and apprenticeship teaching hours.
  • Log of all observation, practice and student teaching hours.
 
Exams Fee: $125
Written exam(s) and exercises performed and taught on the mat.
Prior to certification trainer must become CPR Certified. Synergy Fitness will be offering CPR courses on site. Details to follow.
 
Certification Renewal:
Certification expires 2 years from final exam date. 20 hours of continuing education courses must be completed before your certificate expires.

Course Fee:

Course Includes:

Fundamental, beginning, and intermediate Mat exercises as well as various release techniques and assessment techniques required to adapt for special need clients. Synergy Fitness New Teacher Training Manuals also included.

Hours included:

37 hours coursework & lab
25 hours observation (8 completed during course)
25 hours practice (8 completed during course)
25 hours student teaching
10 hours of assisted teaching

Additional: 2 hours of private sessions

Total: 124 hours
 
Registration requires:
 Application form with $25 application fee and $400 deposit. 250 word essay on why you want to become a Pilates trainer.
 
Refund policy:
 60 days prior: Deposit -5%,
45 days prior: Deposit -10%,
30 days prior: Deposit -15%.
